Headlight restoration
Successfully preparing your car for sale does not only depend on immaculate paintwork without stone chips, scratches or scrapes, but your car should also be equipped with bright headlights. Headlights often become dull, milky, yellowed or scratched, and not only on classic cars, new cars are also susceptible to the ravages of time.
Obscured headlights are also a safety risk.
In Germany alone there are hundreds of thousands of cars on the road with dull headlights and impaired visibility. Luckily, headlights in Germany do not become as yellowed and milky as those on cars in Spain or other hot and sandy regions. However, plastic headlights on cars in northern Europe are affected by sun, dirt, acid rain and salt and these do turn yellow, become cloudy and become obscured over time.

Avoid costly replacement
Of course, you can put your vehicle in a used car repair shop - that's not too expensive (some repairers or garages offer headlight repairs from 15 euros per headlight).
But: You will have to do without your car for a few days and possibly borrow/pay for a replacement vehicle, which is inconvenient and expensive.
Such headlights are not only unattractive to look at; the safety issue is of much greater importance:
- Cloudiness and yellowing drastically reduce the headlight brightness.
- The ability to see and be seen in the dark progressively becomes worse.
- This reduction in the ability to see and be seen makes you a hazard to all other road users
Fine cracks and scratches also cause the light from the headlight to be unevenly distributed. The consequence is that other road users are unnecessarily dazzled when driving in the dark.
TÜV may also put a spoke in your wheels. An otherwise well maintained used vehicle may fail a roadworthiness inspection if the headlights are weathered or yellowed. Having to pay the costs for a repeat inspection, usually around 100 Euro, is really annoying. And then there is the wasted time. Matt or yellowed headlights can make a bad impression on a planned car sale and deter potential buyers.
Many garages will probably also suggest that the headlamp is completely replaced, and as it is not possible to replace the glass on many headlights the whole headlamp assembly has to be replaced, for Audi or Mercedes costs (for a Xenon headlight with cornering lamp) can quickly add up to 1,000 euros per side.

The highly effective polish efficiently removes the dirt and grime particles caused by weathering. If stubborn dirt and grime is present these are removed by wet sanding with fine-grained sandpaper and our power polish leaving the headlights shining like new.
The headlight sealer also included in the kit ensures that the headlights are then permanently protected.
Its unique formula creates a long-lasting, weatherproof and detergent-resistant high-gloss protective layer that protects against the effects of the environment.
The smooth, dirt-repellent sealer also keeps the headlights clean for longer. Used regularly, the UV protection it contains significantly reduces yellowing and clouding.
